I. Editorial: Benedict XVI's pastoral visit to Africa
From 17 to 23 March 2009, Pope Benedict XVI made his first pastoral visit to black Africa, Cameroon and Angola. He was enthusiastically welcomed in a special, one million faithful in the Eucharistic celebration on Sunday in Luanda, capital of Angola. He met the French Episcopal Conference of Black Africa from the west, representing the various Episcopal Conferences of Africa.
