During his trip to the United States, invited to deliver a speech to the UN General Assembly, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Pope Benedict XVI has made the pilgrim expectancy of the people and witness to the experience of the Church in humanity. a time when the emphasis on interfaith dialogue and where China is the "A" of newspapers, we thought it worthwhile to mention the figure of a Chinese little-known great convert, the borders of three religions.

Mission Parish has ciney
A "Mission Ciney parish (Diocese of Namur) was a great success in January. Thirty young people from different communities (including Marie-YOUTH), many young priests and the bishop have spread throughout the deanery, going door to door. Finally we saw Bishop Leonard evangelize several cafes where people present he asked the blessing!

Struck by the ignorance of his students on the role of the Catholic Church in society, Thomas E. Woods pulled out a book shock ("How the Catholic Church built Western Civilization") showing the beneficial influence of the Church in the various sciences, law, philosophy, etc.. : These disciplines would never have known the extraordinary growth achieved in Europe without the intervention church, the universities, not to mention the role of monks in the conservation of part of the Greek and Latin heritage, and in the rehabilitation of manual labor and the value placed on respect for human life , charity, etc..

The authors proclaimed their indignation, demanding a gradual adaptation of the Church in today's world, one shouting to the Inquisition, the other claiming the adulteress in the Gospel (as if Jesus had committed to marry her lover !). It is also, of course, the opportunity to protest against the invitation to divorced and remarried to refrain from Communion at Mass (as if it were an excommunication!).
