© Psychologies.com 2008 It is high time as the doctor said and columnist for Psychologies Serge Hefez, "stop the medicalization of suffering (CF my post on the wonderful book by Dr. Texier, The Praise of the Depression) for sadness or even suffering are not pathological."
A magazine reporter has been placed for a patient "stressed and distraught" and virtually all GPs gave mechanically anxiolytics or antidepressants without any scrutiny!
As highlighted in the review, there are alternatives, "walking" as mediation, exercise, light therapy, spa therapy, omega-3, acupuncture, St. John's Wort but I still think that nothing replaces the Other, the authenticity of reports.
